The Denime Lot 232 Type II Denim Jacket is their creation of the iconic denim jacket from the 1960s. The fabric features a custom woven mid-weight denim from Kurabo Industries that reproduces the original Denime XX fabric from its beginnings. This jacket features original Type II details such as the front knife pleats, two chest pockets, and an adjustable waist cinch. The Lot 232 Type II Denim Jacket uses the same denim fabric as used on their Lot 220A Offset XX Model.
Note: These are unsanforized and will shrink upon wash. We generall find these jackets to fit a litle large when taking your typical American brand size. After shrinkage, the jacket should fit like a slim fitting jacket. DENIME recommends accounting for about 1-1.5" shrinkage in the chest and shoulders, and 1.5-2.5" shrinkage in the sleeve and body length.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs) wearing size 40|L for a rather relaxed fit. After wash, the jacket will probably be a little roomy to allow for layering underneath. For a slimmer fit, model should take the 38|M. Model typically wears size M in American brands.
